2013 Asia Pacific Quitline Network Workshop

  • Aim and objectives:
    Aim
    To maximize Quitline services in the Asia Pacific region in providing cessation support to smokers
    Objectives
    • To update advanced practice of Quitline as an integrated part of cessation and primary health systems;
    • To discuss evidence and experiences through sharing examples of Quitlines as cessation support providers within our region and globally;
    • To develop networking/ and explore opportunities for research project to maximize Quitline in providing cessation support to Asian Pacific smokers

    Quitline providers in 15 countries in Asian Pacific Quitline Network: Australia, Brunei, People’s Republic of China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Republic of Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Mongolia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand,

    The conference will involve countries and areas that have pioneered Quitlines. Some experts from related institutes included:
