- “Knowledge Transfer and Sharing Experiences of Quitline for All in the Asia Pacific Region”

- Introduction
The 2011 Asian Pacific Quitline Workshop (APQW) aims to provide a forum for sharing information and experience of advanced Quitline activities. The APQW should provide an ideal opportunity to promote collaboration and networking of countries in the Asian Pacific region with presentations and panel discussions of the various related issues. Topics for facilitating Quitlines Activities in Asia Pacific region will be discussed, including operation, development of programs, offering services, effect measures, promotion, and research findings from different resource settings

- Participants
Delegates from Asia Pacific Quitline Network (APQN) member countries including country representatives, officials, and professionals who are involved in tobacco control and have concerns with Quitline are invited to 2011 APQW. Participants from countries such as Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Macau, Thailand, Taiwan, UK, USA will be around 40. Additionally, 20 professionals and scholars from local areas and the other overseas are urged to take part.

Presentation and discussion on recent knowledge and experience on Quitline activities
Presentation and discussion on effective Quitline measures and facilitating collaborative research in APQN
Introduction on new aspects of Quitline promotion
Exhibition of campaign materials and festival
