APQN's mission

• Promote the ending of the devastating health, social, economic and environmental impact of tobacco consumption and exposure to tobacco smoke in the Asia Pacific region, and
• Promote policies, strategies and actions in support of Article 14 of the WHO FCTC within the Asia Pacific region

APQN's goals

• Expand the understanding of Quitline’s basic concepts and the role in decreasing smoking prevalence
• Share knowledge and experience of operating Quitlines
• Promote the international cooperation and participation of Quitlines in the Asian Pacific region
• Network and offer support to each other
• Operate evidence based Quitlines in the Asian Pacific region
